        It's really 'almost' a bathing suit, right?

In Ordu's Altınordu district, a group of construction workers
went into the water wearing their underwear, drawing a negative
reaction from the local populace: "You can't go swimming with
your underwear on!"  An argument ensued and both sides went
after each other in a brawl.  Two people were injured and 10
were taken into custody.


Altinordu district is within Ordu city.

Mehmet bey takes his health into his own hands.

In Adana, Mehmet Y. (34) was abandoned by his wife M.A.Y..
Distraught, Mehmet had too much to drink and began to cut
himself with a razor in a suicide effort while sitting on a bridge
over the Seyhan River.


        "To Your Health! Mehmet Bey!"

Observers having tea at a cafeteria on the riverside had a good
laugh watching Mehmet stuggle with the razor and even raised
their tea glasses in a toast.  After a while Mehmet, covered in
blood, was persuaded to come down from the bridge.
