Quite a catch for some lucky girl...
Police in Adana began to investigate a prostitution ring led by Mehmet
A. (36) three months ago. The gang's operation was centered in Adana
but extended to 14 other provinces via the internet. Captured in the police
operation was Birkan K., who gained fame as an eligible bachelor on a
marriage match-making TV program.
The gang took various amounts of money, ranging from 1,000 to 6,000 TL,
from women who wanted to put advertisements on the gang's 'escort
service' internet site. A total of 6.5 million TL was found in the gang
leader's bank account. A representative of the gang was assigned to each
province and the take amounted to an average of 600,000 TL per month.
Birkan K. was accused of pimping two women to male customers.

Wanted: half a brain.
In Mersin, an armed and masked would-be 'gangsta' robbed a store of
580 TL. The incident occurred on 28 August in a store on Gaziosmanpaşa
Avenue in the Mevlana neighborhood of Toroslar district in Mersin. As
the robber left the store, though, he proclaimed "tell everyone that Wantıd
did this!"
Police soon determined that Y.F. (17) had committed the robbery and he
was arrested yesterday with the gun, ski-mask, back-pack and clothing
he wore during the heist. Police had identified Y.F. from his social media
account set up in the name of Wantıd KC (!) and there were pictures of
Y.F. in a ski-mask on the page. Y.F. was wanted for a number of other
crimes, including a conviction for attempted murder for which he
received a sentence of 4 years 7 months.
