Father forgive me for I know not what 'Ducky Layne' means.
Abdullah Harun A. has been taken into custody in connection with
his membership in a 'Ducky Layne' gang that sold stolen social
media accounts. Police determined that the gang used the 'fishing'
technique to steal the social media accounts of nearly 50 famous
people for blackmail purposes.
But while the other gang members were taken to court, Abdullah
Harun A. was released. In his statement to the police he said that
he is a 'müezzin' (mosque official who calls the congregation to
prayer) but he regretted that he had not listened to his father's advice
to read many books, develop himself and help others.
However, although Abdullah Harun A. claimed to be an active
müezzin, there is no related record at the office of the mufti
(official expounder of Islamic law) in Kartal, Istanbul. There is
a record, though, of him working at a summer Koran course as
a temporary teacher.
