How many of us would even dare to attempt a "röveşata"?!
röveşata and on a concrete sidewalk yet!
In recent days, the video of a young man trying (without success) to
make a 'röveşata' (bicycle kick used in football) of a balloon on the
street in Ankara has gone viral on social media. It has now been
discovered that the youth's name is Gülbay Türkücü (22).
Türkücü's aunt, Serpil Kılınç, who lives in the Yunusemre neighborhood
of Elbistan in Kahramanmaraş province. said that Gülbay is her nephew,
the son of her sister Ayşe Özbay from her sister's first marriage. Lately,
Gülbay had been having psychological problems and was going to Adana
frequently for treatment. Kılınç explained that Gülbay's father abandoned
him at 6 months of age but after Ayşe hanım remarried her new children
loved Gülbay like a real brother.
Don't try this at home.
According to Kılınç, Gülbay has left home before but this is the first time
he has gone outside Elbistan by himself. She added that "when he was
young his teachers continually had him play football. He's been missing
for three months now. When we saw him on TV we knew it was him.
We called the police to have them find him."
