Man Saves Dog, For a Change

                          A boy and his dog.

In Bolu's Mudurnu district, Cem Şahin carried his dog 7 kilometers
through half-meter snow to a veterinarian when the animal fell ill
while on a trek with Şahin. 

Şahin, who works for a moving firm in Taşkesti town in Mudurnu,
went on a trek with his friends into a forested area but his dog
experienced a problem and could not walk further.  So Şahin put the
dog in his backpack and walked 7 kilometers to a veterinarian in
Taşkesti.
