Didn't make it to the spin cycle.
Police, acting on a tip, went to a home on Kızanlık Avenue in
Fatih, Istanbul, but those inside wouldn't open the door.
Firefighters were summoned, the door was opened and Tunisians
Sami Ben A. (53), a gift-seller, Muhammed E.(43), in the car
rental business, and his girlfriend Najla M., a hairdresser, were
taken into custody.
As police searched the home, they noticed a storage room that
had been closed off with plaster. Breaking through the plaster,
police found an upside down washing machine, inside of which
was the body of a man wrapped in tape and covered in concrete
(!). Police determined that the body had been in the washing
machine for 20 days and that the deceased was Tunisian Rochdi
Teboulbi (51).

a month or so.
It turned out that the tip police got came from suspect Muhammed
E. After the incident involving Teboulbi's death, Muhammed E.
went to Tunisia and had a crisis of conscience, telling relatives
what had happened. He then came back to Istanbul and called
police.
The owner of the house, Sami Ben A., said in his statement to
police that "Teboulbi came to our house a month ago as a guest.
One day he took drugs and had a heart attack. I panicked and
put his body in the washing machine, covering it with concrete."
An autopsy will be performed to try to determine the cause of
Teboulbi's death.

Sami Ben A. was described by neighbors as a trouble-maker
and psychopath who sells and couriers drugs. Teboulbi
'disappeared' in Istanbul on 24 April and a search for him
started with a notice from the Tunisian Consulate. It was
determined that a notice shared on a Facebook page called
"Rochdi Rochdi" opened for Teboulbi was tagged by Sami
Ben A. The notice promised 1,000 Euros to anyone providing
information about Teboulbi. (!)
Najla hanım claimed she thought the concrete mix was
Tide.
