She Was Bound to Enjoy the Ride

                          Oh, what fun!

In Yaylakent town of Orta district, Çankırı province, İdris K. was
taken into custody the night before last for tying his daughter to
the back of his minivan. (!)  In his defense, İdris K. explained that
the family had gone for an outing and on the way back he thought
his daughter would enjoy being tied to the back of the vehicle. (!!)
After giving his statement, İdris K. was released under judicial
control.

The photos of the girl tied to the back of the minivan created quite
a stir on social media and prompted the Gendarmerie to arrest
İdris K., based on instructions from the Şabanözü Public Prosecutor.
That is when the girl was identified as İdris K.'s 13-year-old
daughter F.K. 

İdris K.'s son Enes K. (22) supported his father, saying that "my
sister insisted on being tied to the back of the minivan so my
father didn't have the heart to disappoint her. (!)  After she was
tied up we only went about 700 meters, at a speed of about 15-20
kph."
