Next venture has to be used cars.
In Istanbul, police launched a physical and technical operation
against tele-marketers who sell unhealthful products to consumers.
On 13 September a raid was conducted on a residence in the
Beylikdüzü section of Istanbul, where in an apartment labled
"Law Office" police found 3 pirate TV and radio control rooms/
studios.(!)
A suspect named Ekrem İncel, known as "Honey Ekrem", was taken
into custody for selling fake 'mesir macunu' (candy) on the
unlicensed radio and TV channels. İncel also hawks 5-lb. jars of honey
for 100 TL, hence his nickname. In the apartment, police also found
12,500 cellphones, chargers, batteries, 3,400 electronic devices,
500 smart watches and 200 'mesir macunu' (candy jars).
Eating up the profits.
An interesting incident occurred when police were about to enter
the "Law Office", where the lawyer's name on the sign was that of
one S.G. İncel demanded that his supposed company's lawyer, O.G.,
be summoned before police entered the "Law Office". But when
O.G. arrived and saw the name of his wife S.G. (!) on the door he
turned to İncel and demanded to know "who put this sign up?!
What's my wife's name doing here?!"
İncel also has tried to sell plots of land in Silivri, Istanbul, as if
they were saleable, when in fact they were not. İncil, who has
previously been taken into custody and released 3 times, was again
released under judicial control.
Plenty of beachfront lots available too...
