"Entrepreneur of The Year" candidate on the job, right.
Paying the price of all innovation pioneers, left.
A teenager named Adem sought refuge in Turkey from the war in
Syria with his family, settling in Kayseri. Adem came up with an
unusual way to earn money that has become a phenomenon on
social media - Adem saves tables for customers at popular
Starbucks cafés for 1 TL (about 15 cents). (!)
Adem, who now has thousands of followers on social media,
explained that "Turkey opened its arms to us. It's not hard to
find work here and sort of by accident I found this 'job' and
I'm earning good money. My popularity on social media is
increasing my earnings."
However, the day before yesterday someone complained about
Adem to the police and he was taken into custody. After giving
a statement, the young entrepreneur was released thanks in part to
a tweet-storm by his loyal followers.
