Osman bey pleads his case against a virtual M.K.
In Adana, Osman Aslan (54), the father of three children,
who makes a living selling cheese and olive oil, sold some
olive oil to M.K. for 13,000 TL. However, Aslan has been
waiting to get the money from M.K. for over a year.
Fed up, Aslan drove his truck to the Adana railway
station, climbed atop it and showed a poster with M.K.'s
picture on it which read "this person scammed me!"
Aslan then proceeded to relate his troubles to citizens
with the help of a megaphone.
An innovative approach to debt collection - will
it trend?
Aslan also poured tomato paste, olive oil and vinegar
all over himself and onto the street, for which he was
fined by police for 'despoiling the environment and
discomforting the populace.' (!)
