The apple doesn't fall far from the tree...
In Seyhan, Adana, police stopped the 'dolmuş' (collective taxi)
that Fatih T. was driving for a traffic check. A policeman asked
Fatih T. for his license, registration and SRC document (permit to
carry passengers or cargo). Fatih T. produced his license but he
had no SRC document.
The policeman told Fatih T. he would get a ticket and his vechicle
would be impounded, which prompted Fatih T. to start screaming
and cursing at the policeman. A fight ensued between the policeman
and Fatih T., with Süleyman T., Fatih's father, who was riding in the
dolmuş, joining in on his son's side.
The policeman called for back-up but as the fight continued
Süleyman T. struck his head on the sidewalk and passed out. (!)
As police called for an ambulance for Süleyman T., his son was
taken into custody, fined 1002 TL (about $200) and his dolmuş
was impounded.
...especially the rotten apple.
