                     Exploited by a stepbrother full of b.s.

In Tire district of İzmir province, E.S. (12) was raped by her 35-year-
old stepbrother B.S. (what's in a name?!) and has given birth to twin
girls.  B.S. has been arrested. 

Last October, E.S., who works on a farm with her 4-person family in
Tire, was brought to Selçuk State Hospital with a stomach complaint.
Doctors who examined the child determined that she was 5.5 months
pregnant and informed the local Gendarmerie command.  Upon being
questioned, E.S. told the Gendarmerie that her stepbrother B.S. had
raped her.  B.S. was captured a few days later in Banaz district of
Uşak province

Yesterday, E.S. gave birth prematurely to twin girls who each
weighed less that 1.5 kilograms.  The babies are being kept under
observation at the hospital and the Family, Labor and Social Services
Ministry is following the matter.

         The downside of "take your daughter to work day."

On 9 January, body parts of a woman were found in the woods in
Keşan district of Edirne province.  Police determined from a
fingerprint that the body parts belonged to belly dancer Didem
Uslu (32) and that the cutting had been expertly done. This clue
led the police to Uslu's father H. Uslu, who is 'dönerci' (one who
slices döner kebap) (!).

Father Uslu (53) and his wife S. Uslu were arrested.  In his
statement to police, father Uslu explained that his daughter had
come home under the influence of alcohol on 14 December
and argued with his wife: "She argued with me and my wife,
spewing curses at us and accusing my wife of sleeping around.
That's when I lost control and strangled Didem to death.  I
decided to put her body in a freezer on the 15th and cut the
body into parts with a bread knife the following day.  I wrapped
the body parts in newspaper, put them in plastic bags and then
back into the freezer.  Later, I buried them one by one in the
woods."
