The once-happy couple, before the flame of love died down.
In Adana, Nurşen B. (28) torched the workplace of her husband
Sefa B. (56) because he refused to agree to a divorce. The day before
yesterday at around noon, Nurşen hanım went to Sefa B.'s iron
profile-making shop in Adana's Yüreğir neighborhood with a gas
container, spread the gas around, lit it and fled.
Workers at the shop were able to douse the flames with fire
extinguishers before any serious damage was done. Nurşen hanım
was pictured on the security camera in the act of arson and taken into
custody. The mother of 3, who has been married to Sefa B. for 11
years, explained to police that "I want to divorce my husband but he
won't agree because he doesn't want to share his property. So that's
why I did what I did." Sefa B. did not file a complaint and Nurşen
hanım was released.
Yüreğir is part of Adana city.

Smart phones keep dumb hoolagans honest.
The incident took place in Bursa's Orhangazi district and because
of public reaction to the video, the 6 people involved were re-arrested.
After the death of her father, Burcu A. (23) received some help from
neighbor Orhan S. (61). But Orhan S. began to pester Burcu hanım
and tried to pressure her into sex. She resisted but Orhan S. was
relentless. Burcu hanım's fiancé Berat G., who lives in Konya, came
to visit her and he got into a telephonic argument with Orhan S.
Later that same day, Orhan S. and his sons Semih and Ertan cut off
Burcu and Berat as they were driving and smashed the car's windows
with iron bars, prompting Burcu and Berat to file a police complaint.
When the two brothers found out about the complaint they tracked
down Berat and, with some friends, beat him up. Burcu tried to fend
off the attackers but without success.
The suspects were taken into custody but released (!). However,
once the scenes of the attack were noticed on social media, the
prosecutor bowed to public pressure and ordered the re-arrest of 6
individuals.
