Surgery will never be the same.
This morning at about 0550 hours, Dr. Kaan Erol, an assistant doctor at
the Sabanci Baltilimani Bone Hospital in Sariyer district of Istanbul,
was stabbed 30 times with a 'Cobra' knife by another doctor named Y.S.,
who accused Dr. Erol of not looking after enough patients. (!)
Dr. Erol succumbed to his injuries despite efforts to save him at nearby
Sisli Etfal Hospital. Dr. Y.S. was taken into custody by police.
