Loving sisters-in-law Fatma & Sezen.
In Yüreğir, Adana, Sezen N. went with her family to their vacation
house and gave her house key to her downstairs neighbor to water
the plants while Sezen hanım was away. However, when the neighbor
went to check on the plants, the door to Sezen hanım's home was open
so the neighbor called police.
After looking at 100 security camera images, police focused on a car
on a nearby street that he been driven in the wrong direction. The
car's owner İsmail P. was taken into custody and told police he had
rented his car to Süleyman A. (26) and Mehmet A. (32), who, in
turn, claimed they had given the car to Ahmet Aktürk (24).
Aktürk confessed to police that he, Bülent Ünal (38) and Ziver
Akkurt (49) had stolen the safe containing gold and cash from Sezen
hanım's home. Once in custody, Ünal told police that his 'close friend'
Fatma Sakar (32), Sezen hanım's sister-in-law (!), had given him the
key to Sezen hanım's apartment . Police then arrested Sakar and she,
along with Aktürk, Akkurt and Ünal were jailed.
The stolen valuables were returned to Sezen hanım.

Brothers in higher learning.
Five years ago, brothers Mustafa and Adnan Demirci, owners of
the DÇT Iron & Steel Wire Company in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, decided
to establish a private university. As construction of the university
buildings proceeded, though, the brothers had a falling out, filing law
suits against one another.
The first incident between the two that involved the police occurred
on 28 February 2018. When Adnan bey went to the factory to get his
belongings a fight erupted and Mustafa bey fired 7 shots at Adnan bey.
During the fight, Adnan bey fell off a chair and broke his shoulder. He
got a medical report to verify his injury and went to the police station
to file a complaint.
According to Adnan bey, police chief Haluk Öztürk pressured him to
turn over shares in the factory to him, so Adnan bey filed a complaint
against Öztürk, who claimed that this was retribution because he refused
to give Adnan bey 'special treatment'. Nevertheless, an indictment was
prepared against Öztürk, with an attendant jail sentence of from 6
months to 2 years.
Adnan bey also filed complaints about 10 other policemen and accused
two of them, Kemal Uçar and Mahmut Demirkol, of damaging his goods
and threatening and insulting him. In turn, Uçar filed a complaint
against Adnan bey for 'insulting'. In the end, 3 policemen were sent to
other duty stations.

When he said "Just do it!" his cousins did.
The night before last in Çankaya village of Ortaköy, Aksaray province,
an argument broke out between relatives Serhat Adak (24), Ramazan
Adak (28) and his older brother Ümit Adak (35) for some unknown
reason.
Before long, the three were firing at each other with rifles and Serhat
and Ramazan were felled. Serhat died at the scene and Ramazan
was treated at Ortaköy State Hospital for a foot injury. Ümit was
unscathed but surrendered to police anyway.
Relative mayhem stretched from Istanbul through Aksaray to
Adana.
