Hmmm, endorsement by an infamous liar could shake
customer confidence.
In Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, police got a tip to the effect that "someone
who comes from Karagümrük in Fatih district, and who has a tattoo
of Pinocchio on his arm (!), is selling drugs." Police then surveilled a
person who was seen frequently going in and out of a residence on
Kumcular Avenue. Last Monday, police stopped this person at the
entrance of the residence and saw the Pinocchio tattoo on his arm.
A body search yielded an amount of narcotics.
The flat that the suspect, Efecen K. (26), was frequenting was raided.
There, police took B.Z.S. (35), A.İ.A. (23) and Y.K. (29) into custody
and seized 146. 8 grams of marihuana in six packets, a sensitive
weighing scale and 2,100 TL (about $143) thought to have come from
drug sales.
Police determined that the flat was the drug sellers' base where they
took drugs themselves and brought it from there to their buyers.
After processing at the police station all four were released on judicial
supervision. (!)
They got a bit carried away with advertising their brand.
