B.Ç. (48), the accountant at the Trabzon Retirement and Rehabilitation
Home, used the 400,000 TL he stole from the home's cash box to bet on
the horses.  

Based on the residents' suspicions, an inspector reviewed the cash box
accounts dating back to 2008 and found that 400,000 TL had been taken
from the cash box, which contained the retirement salaries and savings
of the home's residents.  Account B.Ç. confessed to the crime and
explained that he used the money to bet on horses and play games of
chance.
