İlay Dagilev, who reached the final of a women's beauty contest
in Kazakhstan has confessed to being a male (!). The 22-year-old
Dagilev lives in Almaty and entered the 'Miss Virtual Kazakhstan'
contest under the name Arina Aliyeva.

Dagilev passed through all the elimination rounds to reach the final
but then had to confess her real gender to the competition committee.
He said his aim in entering the contest was, as follows: "I'm always
in favor of natural beauty. These days, most girls dress alike and
put on make-up, thinking they're beautiful." The committee
eliminated Dagilev from the competition and put another candidate
in his place.
