Look at the leg-room a 500-Euro ticket gets you these days.
Sigh...
As police were making traffic stops along the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep
(TAG) highway, they stopped a truck covered with a canvas that they
considered 'suspicious'. When police saw that driver Mehmet G. and
his passenger were panicking they asked the two what was in the truck.
Mehmet G. told police that the truck was filled with "sheep and goats"
but the police didn't believe him and had him remove the canvas,
revealing a flock (!) of 61 illegal immigrants from Pakistan and
Afghanistan. The migrants had entered Turkey through Van province
and had been on the road from there for 10 days. They had each paid a
human trafficker 500 Euros.
"...and Buckingham Palace is just ahead, to the right. You
can't miss it. Enjoy!"
The illegal migrants were sent to the Turkish Immigration Bureau
for extradition, while Mehmet G. and his passenger were brought in
for questioning by police.
