Cat Uses One of Its Lives

A few more lives to go, but who's counting...

In Manisa, Nuray Özyolcu's cat 'Ekmekçi' was walking on the
roof when it fell onto a 5th-floor balcony.  Unaware of the cat's
plight, Nuray hanım walked the streets for two days looking
for 'Ekmekçi'.  And when it was finally learned that the cat was
on the balcony, it turned out that the homeowner was on vacation.


Firefighters' great effort ended with a "whoops!".

Nuray hanım asked the police and firefighters for help but when
the fire department ladder reached the balcony, 'Ekmekçi' got
spooked and fell from the balcony to the street below.
Nevertheless, the cat was only slightly injured in the fall (!)
and is recuperating nicely.
