'Low altitude' points kept Şenol's score down, but he got 'A'
for effort.
In Burdur the night before last, Mustafa Şenol lost control of his
car and first spilled into the garden of Ali İhsan Sezgin before
finally crashing into the house's balcony. Şenol was injured in
the crash and transported to Akdeniz University Hospital in
Antalya for treatment.
L.A. champ still the title-holder.
Breathalyzer tests on Şenol revealed that he had a 3.37 alcohol
reading (the limit is 1.00!) and that his license had been
revoked 5 times before for drunken driving (!). In fact, the day
before this accident, Şenol had been stopped for drunken
driving and driving without a license.
Şenol looked confident before the challenge...but he was
sober then.
In accordance with paragraph 48-5 of the traffic law, Şenol's
license was seized until the year 2050 (!). Up to now Şenol
has been fined 35,000 TL (about $8,000) for drunken driving.
