An English lessons book used by the Islamic State to teach
children in Mosul has been found in an orphanage in the Zuhur
neighborhood in the eastern part of the city. The child students
were between ages 3 and 16, mostly Yazidis and Shiites.
In addition to the English book, there were books on firing weapons,
riding horses and swimming. In the English book the English names
of items like bombs and snipers were given, accompanied by pictures.
The picture depicting a 'woman' was merely a black spot, covering a
barely discernable person.
No one lives long enough to get to book two.
