Is this any way to treat cancer-curing scientists!?
In Denizli, police determined that drugs were being sold at a store on
Doktorlar Avenue. The sign on the door read "Kanserle Savaş,
Kimsesiz, Engelli ve Lösemililer Vakfı" ( Foundation for the War on
Cancer and Care for the Homeless, Handicapped and Leukemia
Sufferers). (!)
To capture the drug-dealers police began physical and technical
surveillance 6 months ago. A few days ago, police conducted raids
simultaneously on the Foundation's center and six other addresses,
one of them in Izmir, breaking down doors that were locked. In all,
six suspects, one of them a woman, were arrested and 15 grams of
heroin, along with 2 grams of metamphetamenes were seized.
Last May police had conducted a raid at the Foundation, seizing
69 grams of heroin in 82 packets and jailing two suspects at that
time.
Nobel committee was already en route to Denizli.
