Ukrayna’da organize işler... Türk iş insanı dolandırıldı

He's looking for a new lawyer.  (Rudy, are you listening?)

Cüneyt Zenciri, a businessman working in both Turkey and Ukraine, was
hoodwinked in an interesting fraud.  An Azeri employee of Zenciri took
his computer and $91,000 and disappeared.  When Zenciri tried to get his
computer back he was told to pay $1 million for it.

A few years ago, Zenciri, who is in the import-export field, decided to
set up a company in Ukraine through a lawyer named A.A., who then
introduced Zenciri to his relative Afhan İ.  Zenciri established his firm
in Ukraine in Afhan İ.'s name because the latter had a residency permit
for Ukraine.

So Afhan İ. became the ostensible "company head", while also serving
as Zenciri's driver (!).  On 19 January, Zenciri had Afhan İ. sell his car for
$91,000 but Afhan İ. never returned with the money nor Zenciri's
computer, which was in the car.  Zenciri tried to find Afhan İ. but without
success.  Shortly afterwards a number of people contacted Zenciri, saying
that Afhan İ. had the computer and would return it to Zenciri for $1 million.

In response to this extortion, Zenciri filed a criminal complaint with the
Ukrainian authorities, who issued an arrest order for Afhan İ.  Zenciri
lamented that "my former lawyer A.A. is part of this gang.  They put
their guys into companies and then go into action." Zenciri also found out
that Afhan A. had also become the "director" of six other Turkish firms
in Ukraine (!).
