Just another entrepreneurial start-up in a garage...
In Antalya, İbrahim Tetik (54) is a wheel-balancing expert. Fifteen years
ago Tetik got back spasms because he was continually bending and lifting
heavy items. When he went to the doctor, Tetik was told that he didn't
need an operation, but his discomfort continued.
So Tetik turned to practitioners who use an "inversion tool" to relieve such
suffering. With what he learned from these practitioners, Tetik made his
own device and after using it on himself with good results, he began to
help his fellow-shop owners and customers with their waist and back
problems.
Now, at the shop where once he only balanced wheels, Tetik has his
"patients" lie on the device he invented, turns them upside down and
pulls their arms to jostle their waists. After the 15-minute procedure,
those who came limping into the store walk out in fine style, sometimes
even running (!). Tetik asks nothing in return for his services.
Hey, balance is balance...whether car or body.

Game is always played at "same Bat-time, same Bat-channel"
In Batman, Ahmet Kaçmaz (75) is not letting his illness deter him
from playing cards. Rather than lie in bed at home, Kaçmaz takes
his serum with him to the coffeehouse, where the manager, a former
health worker, attaches the serum hose to Kaçmaz's wrist.
'Nezere' playing cards - unique to Batman, of course.
While playing the 'nezere' card game with his buddies, Kaçmaz
explained that "time doesn't pass when I'm at home so I bring the
serum with me to the coffeehouse. Without even noticing, the
serum finishes. So I can hold my cards and play my hand while
the serum drips. When some of the fellows see this they smile."
Usually, Batman residents stay in bed while they're sick.
