Mustafa's new 'office' unlikely to resemble this one.
An incredible revenge killing occurred in Manyas district of Balıkesir
province yesterday. Mustafa A. (30), head of the Diyarbakır Visually
Impaired Sports Club, determined that Derviş Karataş (72), who had
killed Mustafa's father 17 years ago, was living in Manyas's Çarşı
neighborhood.
Mustafa, who himself is 95% visually impaired, works at the National
Education Directorate in Diyarbakır's Bismil district. went to Manyas,
got a hotel room and arrived at Karataş's home on Huzur Street yesterday
morning by taxi. Mustafa rang the door bell and said he was a courier
with a package for Karataş. When Karataş showed him his ID card to
collect the package, Mustafa shot him 7 times and then turned himself
in to the police.

After killing Mustafa's father 17 years ago, Karataş had served some
prison time and it has been learned that he is the brother of Mustafa's
step-mother. When Mustafa's friends at the sports club learned of the
incident they were shocked because "Mustafa is 95% visually impaired.
He gets around with a cane. It's hard to fathom that he could kill someone.
We're dumbfounded."
