In Germencik district of Aydın province, a fight broke out at a street
wedding between two groups selling cotton candy (!), leaving two
people dead. Cihangil Yelkıran (46) and his son Toprak Yelkıran (19)
came to the wedding to sell cotton candy but encountered rival sellers
Nedim G. (26) and his brother Güven G.

An argument between the rivals became a fight, with each drawing
knives on the other. Cihangil Yelkıran died at the scene from his stab
wounds and Nedim G. died at the hospital from his. Toprak Yelkıran
and Güven G. were both seriously injured and remain under treatment.
Germencik district is in NW Aydın province.
