             Walking Dead-wannabe cast members.

The "crazy" cavalrymen of the Ottoman Army known as the "Alabaş" 

are remembered for their great bravery and unusual outfits on the second

day of Kurban Bayramı (feast of sacrifice) every year in Şehriman village 

located 36 kilometers from Bursa's Mustafakemalpaşa district center.

                           Special treat for the ladies. 

The event, which has been a tradition for 200 years in Şehriman, a village

of just 250 people living in 80 homes, centers on young men using the

skin, heads, tails, horns and bones of the animals they slaughtered on the

first day of Kurban Bayramı and donning frightening masks to terrorize

the other villagers (!). ,
