Tummy ache...something he ate didn't agree with him.
Last week Cüneyt G. (52) came to Istanbul from Morocco. Two
days after arriving, he went to a private hospital in Beşiktaş,
complaining of stomach pains. As part of the diagnostic
procedure Cüneyt bey was given a tomography and "foreign
material" (!) was found in his stomach and intestines.
The doctors discussed the case with the police and ultimately
they operated on Cüneyt bey, removing 49 "hashish gum" pellets,
weighing 259.7 grams. He was charged with narcotics trafficking.
Cüneyt bey has a previous police record of crimes like "intentional
wounding" and "causing neglectful injury".
