Well, in a perfect world...
In Istanbul’s Avcılar district, suspects—who allegedly got
into an argument with another driver over the right-of-way
in traffic—followed the driver all the way to his home and
stabbed him in the neck. (!)
As they fled, the suspects also stabbed and wounded two
other individuals—acquaintances of the driver—who had
pursued them. The three injured people were transported to
the hospital, and an operation has been launched to
apprehend the suspects.
The incident took place today, around 13:00, in the Cihangir
neighborhood. According to reports, an argument broke out
between the occupants of a car traveling in the wrong
direction (!) and a driver proceeding in the correct lane,
stemming from a dispute over the right-of-way.
After the individuals in the other vehicle demanded the
right-of-way—claiming they were on their way to a funeral—
a confrontation ensued, following which the driver continued
on his way.
Following this, the suspects followed the driver—with whom
they had been arguing—all the way to his home. Upon exiting
their vehicle, the suspects demanded that the driver, who had
gone inside, come back out. Despite objections from those in
the house, the driver stepped outside and was stabbed in the
neck during the ensuing altercation.
The suspects then fled the scene in the vehicle they had arrived
in. The driver’s relatives subsequently pursued the fleeing
suspects. Two blocks away, two more individuals who confronted
the suspects were also injured with a knife. In total, the suspects
stabbed three people and, while making their escape, collided
with a parked car.
Following a report, police and medical teams were dispatched
to the scene. The three injured individuals were transported to
the hospital after receiving initial treatment from medical
personnel. The police have launched an investigation to
apprehend the suspects.
