The film in question: "Debbie Does Kastamonu"
The sound track from a porno film was played over the town
loudspeaker system in a neighborhood of Kastamonu the
night before last. The broadcast was recorded by someone on
their cellphone and shared across social media.
At about 1 AM on Tuesday night in Kuzeykent, one of Kastamonu's
most populous sections, the porno film soundtrack could be heard
coming from the loudspeakers for 51 seconds. Observers speculated
that city workers had inadvertantly left the loudspeaker microphone
on as they watched the film.
Mayor Tahsın Babaş, though, declared on Facebook that "The
immoral provocation created by the invasion into the municipal
announcement system's broadcasting frequency has no connection
whatsoever to our municipality. An investigation will commence
forthwith!"
