Complained about not being able to use the
touch-screen in-flight entertainment system.
In 2009, A.Ş. lured a child into the woods in Yozgat's Sorgun district
and molested the child. Interpol issued a red alert for A.Ş. in 194
countries and he was captured in France. In order to return A.Ş. to
Turkey, he was taken to the Paris airport, where he wounded himself
and a policeman with his handcuffed hands as he was hustled onto
the plane.
After treatment at a hospital, A.Ş. was again boarded onto a plane,
this time by an Interpol team. But when it was determined that A.Ş.
posed a danger to the other passengers his repatriation to Turkey was
once again delayed.
French fashion always a step ahead.
Finally, a special Turkish team that included a doctor and an
anesthesiologist (!) came to Paris on 9 September with special
Interpol handcuffs designed especially for "high-risk individuals
who pose a threat to themselves and personnel". A.Ş. was then
anesthetized, brought to Turkey on 10 September and delivered
to the courthousein Yozgat.
