Fill 'er up!
The 136-meter long "Flying Fox" luxury yacht, flying the Cayman
Islands flag, cruised around the bays of Muğla for a while. The
"Flying Fox" is one of the 20 biggest yachts in the world. Yesterday
morning, the yacht docked at the Marmaris Cruise Port Limanı's
large pier for re-fueling.
Ten tanker trucks (!) came to Marmaris from Aliağa, north of Izmir,
to load the "Flying Fox" with 480,000 liters of fuel, at a cost of 2.2
million TL (about $500,000). The yacht was also resupplied with
food and drinks. It costs more than $1 million to rent the "Flying
Fox" for a week. The yacht has two helicopter pads.
