Caught unawares...
In an operation supported by drones in Pendik, Sultanbeyli, and
Sancaktepe, 5 suspects were taken into custody. During house
searches, 1 kilogram and 595 grams of marijuana, 1,420 narcotic pills,
cocaine, a weapon, and 97,100 TL (about $2,000) in cash were seized.
Four of the suspects were arrested, one was released under judicial
supervision, and it was determined that one of the wanted individuals
had a 20-year prison sentence that had been finalized.
Thereupon, on July 26, the suspects G.A.S. (23), M.A. (23), S.C. (38),
C.K.U. (33) and M.B.D. (68), who were detected by aerial surveillance
with a drone, were detained.
