When it's your time, it's your time.
Naime Gölbaşı (55), a resident of Meşelik village in Baykan district
of Siirt province, suffered a heart attack, so her relatives put her in a
minibus to get her to a hospital.
However (!), heavy rains caused the Baykan Stream to overflow and
the minibus became stranded amid the swollen water flow. Rescue
teams from AFAD, UMKE and the Gendarmerie rushed to the scene
along with heavy equipment, but Naime hanım lost consciousness and
by the time she reached Siirt Training and Research Hospital she had
passed away.
