Badly broken and burst.
Ankara narcotics police got a tip that Iranian drug dealers would be
bringing a large amount of methamphetamines to Ankara from
Istanbul for distribution by street sellers.
The drug dealers set out from Istanbul in two cars - one a lookout.
Police followed them for 200 kilometers and stopped the lookout
just outside Ankara, taking Türk Mustafa D. and Iranian Ebrahim
Motallebi into custody.
When the dealers in the other car, 10 kilometers back, got wind of
the lookouts' being arrested they turned around and tried to flee.
This car, with Hamit Alizadeh Silabi and Samad Chraghleh inside,
crashed into another vehicle. Chraghleh, carrying 2.5 kilograms of
methamphetamines, started to run away but he was hit by a truck
and fatally injured. The bag with the drugs split open and
methamphetamines spilled onto the highway. Meanwhile, Silabi
was also hit by a vehicle as he ran away. He, along with Mustafa D.
and Ebrahim Motallebi were arrested.
