Humans proving they too can act like canines.
The evening before last at a hotel in the Sarialan pasture of Bolu
province, a dog named 'Lisa' was walking on a frozen lake when
she fell through a patch of broken ice into the water. Hotel guests
alerted the hotel owner Erdal Bayrak, who had his staff carry a 250-
kilogram boat to the point closest to Lisa.
"What? It's about time!"
Bayrak and Serhat Cengiz then made their way in the boat through
the icy water, nearly capsizingas they successfully rescued Lisa.
The dog was wrapped in a towel and brought back to the 'hamam'
(Turkish bath) at the hotel to warm up. A bit later a veterinarian
came to the hotel and determined that Lisa was in good condition.
