Driven to despicable distraction by "click clack" noise.
In Beşiktaş, 66-year-old Mete Ö., who distributed a photoshopped image
of his female neighbor with other, naked women, because he was
bothered by the sound of her high-heels (!), has been charged with
"violating the privacy of private life and illegally obtaining and
disseminating personal data," facing up to 9 years in prison.
Mete Ö.'s upstairs neighbor Ayla Ç (29)., allegedly made noise by
walking around her house in high heels for years. Despite repeated
complaints and warnings, she continued to wear them, so in April of last
year, Mete Ö. devised a despicable plan. (!)
Mete Ö. photoshopped Ayla hanım's social media photos onto images of
naked women, also adding her phone number and home address. He then
left these photos in building entrances, parks, and gardens. Ayla hanım
discovered the photos in her neighborhood.
After identifying where the photos were printed, she learned that Mete Ö.
had orchestrated this plot. Following Ayla hanım's complaint, Mete Ö. was
arrested. In his statement, he expressed remorse, saying, "I am seriously
ill with cancer. I regret what I did. Years of accumulated feelings led me
to make such a mistake."
Mete bey's alternative plan was much more tame, but he chose the
despicable one.
