        Fanaticism finds a home.

The 'Sanayı Torunoğulları Sitesi' housing complex, comprised
of 6 blocks and 96 flats built by contractor Metin Torunoğulları
in 2015 in Gölçük district of Kocaeli (İzmit) province, is known
by locals as the 'Fans' Houses' because the buildings are painted
with the colors of the Turkish national football team and famous
clubs like Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, Trabzonspor and
the local club Kocaelispor.

Erol Dağcı, manager of the housing complex, explained that
the building contractor selected these colors to show the unity
of the teams in Turkey (!), adding that "the residents are very
pleased with the housing blocks' colors, although not everyone
lives in the block with the colors of their team.  Would that
they could.  But some people have been able to move to the
blocks with their team's colors."

Continuing, Dağcı stated that "the building were painted this
way to exhibit a pleasant visage of all the teams getting along
(!!! very far from reality).  I live in a building with the colors
of Trabzonspor but I'm for Fenerbahçe.  At the time I moved
in there weren't any flats available in the Fenerbahçe house.
But since I'm from the Black Sea anyway it's no big deal for
me to be in the Trabzonspor house."
