Ten-year-old M.H., who helps his family collect paper from the
street in Konyaaltı, Antalya, was photographed atop a garbage
container watching children playing in the swimming pool of a
luxury residence.
The photographer shared the photo on social media and it went
viral, prompting a help campaign for M.H. One of those who saw
the photo was Konyaaltı Mayor Semih Esen, who determined that
the photo was taken in the Hurma neighborhood.
A team of municipal employees went to Hurma and after two days
of searching found M.H. collecting paper. The team took M.H.
and his three siblings to a sports complex, where the four went
swimming. After that, it was off to the Antalya Aquarium for the
four lucky kids.
