Let's hope the Slavs do peace talks better than the Turks.
In Üsküdar, Istanbul, the long friendship between Tuncay Demirli (47)
and Ercan Akdağ (44) ended four years ago because of an argument.
Their friends were very saddened by this situation and one of them, Ö.Ç.,
decided to bring the two old friends back together. So a meeting was
arranged between Demirli and Akdağ last Thursday evening.
The peace conference began well enough, as the two shook hands and
entered into a deep conversation. However (!), in the course of the chat,
old wounds were opened and tensions rose. Ö.Ç. tried to intervene, but
in vain, as Demirli stabbed Akdağ 5 times, killing him. Demirli fled
and Akdağ's body was taken to the morgue.
Shortly afterwards, Demirli surrendered himself and his knife a the
police station and was jailed.
