"Beat & Release": Literally a 'Femme Fatale', in Aydın

                 Relationship-killer.  No kidding.

In Aydın, Emel B. stabbed her boyfriend Tolga Arslan to death five years

ago and was released from prison after three years because of the COVID

pandemic.  The day before yesterday, Emel hanım stabbed her husband

Doğukan B. (28) to death. (!) 

The night before last at 11 PM, Emel hanım and Doğukan bey, her husband

of two years, got into an argument in their second-floor flat on 209th Street 

in the Orta Mahalle neighborhood of Aydın.  As the argument intensified,

Emel hanım grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Doğukan bey

four times in his heart.  

Police arrived after reports from neighbors and Doğukan bey was taken

to Aydın Adnan Menderes University Practical and Research Hospital,

where he died.  Meanwhile, Emel hanım was taken into custody. 

On 16 April 2017, Emel hanım killed her boyfriend Tolga bey (27) who 

was the manager of the bar where she worked in the Kurtuluş section

of the city, by stabbing him in the back and arm.  She was sentenced to

15 years in prison then but served just 3 years because of the pandemic 

and married Doğukan bey upon her release.
