Not everyone wants to be Kim Kardashian.

Ebru Ö., a Turkish woman living in Germany, suffered serious
injuries in an accident when she was 16 years old and a hollow
cavity formed in her right hip.  She came to an esthetic clinic
in Istanbul to have skin grafted from her back to fill the cavity.
Ebru hanım paid 7,000 Euros for the operation she underwent
in Istanbul on 5 June 2023.

However (!), Ebru hanım claims that the doctor did not fill the
cavity as she desired and instead created a "Brazilian butt",
enlarging her posterior much more than she wanted.  As for
the clinic,  it informed Ebru hanım that six months were
necessary for the success or failure of the operation to be
understood, and raised the prospect of another operation, if
needed.

Ebru hanım, though, was quite distressed by her new
"Brazilian butt" and underwent an operation in Germany to
fix it, while at the same time filing a suit against the Istanbul
clinic with the Istanbul Consumers Court, lamenting that the
Istanbul operation had left her in great pain, unable to both
sit comfortably and fit into her clothes, as well as causing
her discomfort and limited productivity at her workplace in
Germany.

She asked the Consumers Court to award her 5,500 Euros
from the clinic and doctor, along with 300 Euros for
emotional distress (equal to 215,399 TL)

Damla Sakallı (20), who lived in Diyarbakır, was having
trouble breathing because of  some cracks on her nose so
she wanted an operation to correct the situation.  She was
admitted to a private hospital in Kaypınar district but when
serum was administered to her before the operation she
became ill and died in the hospital's emergency room.

Damla hanım's father Şeyhmus Sakallı (48) asserted that
there had been negligence at the hospital. "Three nurses
came, hooked up my daughter to the serum and left.
After just a few drops of the serum I saw that she had
turned black and was foaming at the mouth.  I screamed
to the nurses but they were unconcerned, saying to me
"There's no problem, what are you screaming about?"

"However (!), when the doctors looked at Damla they
rushed her to the emergency room where she died.  My
daughter was 20 years-old, had finished university and
was awaiting appointment as a medical secretary.  She
was going to be a medical professional but died at the
hands of other medical professionals.  I will pursue this
till I die!"

As for the hospital, "no comment".
