tree vendetta tough time to be a tree in Turkey
Trees silently await execution at Samsun cemetery.
The Samsun municipality has decided to cut and sell 4,566
pine trees in various cemeteries because the trees cause damage
to the gravestones, for a price of 1,976,000 TL (about $47,500).
Bids on the project will be accepted by the municipality at
1430 hours on 9 October .
