Mahkûm gibi hisset! 165 TL’ye garip bir turizm
Think of it as just another holiday village.

India has begun a project to allow 'tourists' to spend a day in
the infamous Tihar prison in New Delhi and live just like an
inmate for $28. (!)  Tihar prison is Asia's biggest, with an
inmate population of over 16,000.

The project, entitled "Live Like an Inmate", would have
'tourists' wear prison uniforms and live in a cell with a toilet
but no bed.  Like the other inmates, the 'tourists' would have
to sleep on the bare floor.  They could participate in painting
and meditation sessions that are available to the other inmates.

As for dining, the 'tourists' would eat prison fare, which is
said to be quite good.  In fact, for the sake of eating this great
food one former inmate committed a crime so he could be
retuned to Tihar just for the food. (!)

India's most-wanted criminals are sent to Tihar but the
'tourists' would not be allowed to come face to face with these
hardened inmates, interacting only with selected prisoners in
the common areas of the jail.

The "Live Like an Inmate" project has yet to begin and is
still awaiting government approval.
