Fake Istanbul (sic, Madrid) "Nişantaşı" metro stop.

Singer Demet Akalın shared a photo she claimed had been taken of a
crowded subway car at the "Nişantaşı" station in Istanbul, in order  to
contrast the lack of social distancing in the metro compared to the
plight of Turkey's restaurants, which remain empty because of the
COVID pandemic restrictions.

Under the photo of the jam-packed subway car, Akalın wrote "the
restaurants are being made the scapegoats! What a shame!".  In
response, though, the Istanbul municipality's spokesman Murat
Ongun countered that "we hope that all sectors will return to normal
as soon as possible.  But the photo you used to make your point is
from Madrid, not Istanbul." (!)

Other followers of Akalın reminded her that "there's no metro stop
in Nişantaşı."  Akalın sheepishly explained that she got the photo
from her friend Deha Bilimler's account.

The real Istanbul "Nişantaşı" metro stop.
