A pensive killer and his prey.

In Sultangazi, Istanbul, Cemile Şenel (17) died of a bullet wound at the
hospital she was brought to.  But police had no information about who
brought Cemile hanım to the hospital nor where she had been shot.  They
first looked at hospital security video and identified Ramazan Rohani
Çakın as the person who brought her there. Taken into custody, Çakın
explained that "I found the woman injured on the road so I stopped a
passing car and took her to the hospital."

Based on Çakın's information, police went to Eski Edirne Asfaltı Avenue
and by talking with shopkeepers and looking at video they determined
the point where Cemile hanım got into the car.  There were some
indistinct blood drops on the pavement, which police followed to a
nearby apartment house.  Using ultraviolet sensing devices, police
found "cleaned" bloodstains inside the building that led them to a third-
floor flat, which was empty.

A locksmith opened the door to the flat and again, using ultraviolet
sensing devices, the police found a "cleaned" pool of  blood, along
with two bullet empty bullet shells and bullet ricochet marks on the
wall.  Looking at video from a shop across the street, police saw
that Çakın had lied to them and that when Cemile hanım was taken
from the apartment building she was accompanied by two women
and two men.

In the course of cross-examinations, the individuals gave their names
and related what happened.  Tuğba Can, Aysun Çelebi anbd Servet
Sürücü were taken into custody but Nusret Tekin was missing.  It
turned out that during an argument between Tekin and Sürücü,
Cemile hanım was killed.  Çelebi, Can, Sürücü and Çakın were
jailed.

Tekin (39), who has been in and out of jail often and has a record of
25 criminal convictions, was captured with his gun the night before
last.  He explained to the public prosecutor that "I had an argument
with a fellow I've been at odds with and he said some things that
made me pull out my gun.  Then I calmed down but he said 'If a
real man pulls out his gun, he fires it!'  So I took it out again and
when he hit my arm the gun went off and a bullet hit Cemile."
Tekin was jailed on the charge of "intentional murder".
