Great way to earn a living - no training required!
In Kayseri, Erkan T. (33), who works at a cargo firm, invited women of
limited means to his home, blindfolded them, bound their feet and
administered the "falaka" ('bastinado' - caning the feet) torture to them.
Erkan T. then separated the women into "pretty" and "ugly" categories,
giving them each 500 TL and 250 TL, respectively.
Erkan T.'s defense "I'm just trying to keep our traditions
alive!"
Erkan T. took videos of the "falaka" episodes and sent the videos to
other women as "work proposals" (!). However, a woman named N.K.,
who received such a proposal, reported it to the public prosecutor.
Erkan T. was then arrested and charged with "obscenity" and "sexual
harassment".
