Very cold-blooded during these very hot summer days.
The day before yesterday in Karaşyaka, Izmir, police got a tip that there
might be a body (!) in a boat tied up to a fishermen's shack near the
Bostanlı pier. Sure enough, when police searched the boat they found
the body of a young women in a freezer on the boat. The body was
taken to the police forensic lab morgue and it was determined that the
deceased was Hilmiye Tuğba Esgin (26), after being identified by her
sister.
There were no cuts or punctures in the body so an autopsy will have to
be conducted to determine the cause of death. Boat owner Şenol A.,
his wife Belgin A., and a deckhand were taken into custody by police.
It has been learned that Şenol A. carried sacks of ice to the boat so the
body would not smell (!).
