Riding in cattle class
In Simav district of Kütahya province, police responded to news of the
theft of two cars, one of which they found in a vacant lot. After reviewing
about 130 video images, police identified the suspects as S.A. and A.Y.
and apprehended them in the second car they had stolen.
Vehicular shepherds.
A search of the stolen car revealed two sheep in the baggage section
that had been stolen from a stable. The suspects explained that since the
sheep didn't fit into the first car they stole, they had to steal a car more
suitable for their purposes (!). Police charged the two suspects with both
car theft and animal theft and put them in jail. The animals and the cars
were returned to their rightful owners.
